Polish book on Ashoka
After years of research, noted Polish writer Janusz Krzyzowski has come out with a book on the life and achievements of the ancient Indian king, Ashoka the Great, in his native language. "I am fascinated with Ashoka's personality and his deeds to promote Buddhism. The history of ancient India is very close to my heart. My purpose is to introduce Ashoka and his life achievements to Polish readers," said Krzyzowski in an interview.
